Before entering the legal profession, Tim earned an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley with a focus on finance (and, to be honest, golf). After a challenging stint as a tenant improvement construction manager, he worked as a credit and property underwriter for a national multifamily FannieMae lender in San Francisco and later Santa Fe.
In 1996, Tim joined Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, a multibillion dollar investment advisory firm, as a financial analyst in the firm’s acquisition group. He later served as an asset manager overseeing a portfolio of office and industrial properties and participating in the due diligence review of new acquisitions.
